After 3 years of constant grind and hustle, the work was finally finished.
Or was it?
That's what we thought when we heard Him make the announcement on the cross. We didn't know it was just phase 1.
We didn't know phase 2 was the icing on the cake.
We didn't know that phase will be the beginning of massive benefits and bonuses.
If phase 2 never happened, we won't have the privilege of looking death in the eyes and reminding him of how he was conquered.
Death thought he could cut short Christ's career. He thought he could sabotage Christ's work. He thought the Son of God turned in His resignation letter on the cross.
He was mistaken.
And for you as well, death is mistaken.
"Death is just a horse that we ride into glory because we have Someone who has conquered death."

Receive life in everything you lay your hands on in Jesus name. Happy Easter.
Never underestimate the power of expectation. It makes motivation run through your veins.
Nothing looks more pleasant that seeing what you've always wanted come at you with speed.
But God is very time conscious and doesn't need to rush because He's never late. However, our anticipation makes us quicken our steps to get to Him (the carrier) faster.
The closer you get to the carrier, the faster you recieve the package(s) He has for you.
How do you get closer? How do you walk without entering a ditch? Psalm 119:105.
When it looks like everything is static, someone is moving.
As you stand in one spot, waiting in expectation of what is being brought to you, time passes very slowly.
Sometimes, you choose to shorten time by walking towards the person bringing the package (the carrier).
And that's the interesting part. You don't just walk towards the package. You approach the carrier. Eventually, you get closer to the carrier and receive the package.
When you pray, you're free to start walking too. But unless you walk towards the carrier (God), the package you want may always seem far and unattainable.
The serpent presented a legal document that contained the terms of the deal.
It was supposed to be a simple deal where Eve, one of the board members and wife to the second largest shareholder was only to do one task – launch the new product and recommend the serpent for a good position in the business.
Eve was a complete newbie in the trade and the serpent, being a trained Lawyer, knew this. He also knew the power of signed legal documents and didn't want to take any chances.
He was smart enough not to approach Adam because Adam, the second largest shareholder and CEO was trained by the Chairman of the Board himself. "That's a no go area", he thought to himself, twisting his moustache at the same time.
On the D-day, he requested a meeting and made his presentation, pushing the document to her. He told her the benefits, stating that she'll own a large part of the business (as if she didn't already) and can become Chairman. Eve scanned through the document and was so eager to launch the Tree of Good and Evil product. But the document required Adam's signature too. The serpent was 80% sure that since Eve had signed, Adam won't think twice.
He was right.
Unfortunately, Eve only read the bold letters and didn't see the fine print which stated that by signing, their rights to the company would be transfered to the serpent. She also didn't see the clause which stated that while they won't die physically, they'll die spiritually.
No wonder Adam pointed fingers at Eve when the Chairman approached him angrily. "It's the partner you gave me sir", he said, almost urinating in his pants. At this point, even the security guard had a higher rank. They were kicked out!
The serpent capitalised on two things: impatience and ignorance.
The Bible has all the guidelines you need to understand clauses and nomenclature in any "business" documents.
Time to show the serpent that you are patient and knowledgeable of your rights. Or are you?
Every one needs to get high on something on a daily basis. Because the truth is without getting high, you won't really be motivated to do anything meaningful, especially work.
Some drink. Some "blaw". But one substance rules them all…
Take a few shots of praise. It's a shot, so it's not supposed to be long. You only need enough to get you high again.
When the work starts to overwhelm you, take a break, and thank God for the fact that you can work till you're tired. He'll give you more strength.
David took seven shots a day (Psalm 119:164), Daniel took three shots daily (Daniel 6:10). They were men of excellence. Let's get high too. How many shots will you start taking?
