Give a toddler a gun, and he may senselessly put the gun to his head and pull the trigger.
Give a grown man a gun, and he'll understand the danger that the trigger can cause.
Everyone desires a big break – that point where all the work you've done for so many years will suddenly make sense. That moment when too much money becomes a nightmare rather than a prayer.
Success is like a gun. It can be used to protect the innocent. It can be used against the innocent. And it can be used as a self destructive mechanism.
God loves you too much to put a gun in your hand if you're still a toddler in this race of life. So He prefers to delay the big break just so you can grow. And when you've grown, He's confident enough to trust you with whatever He hands over to you. 2 Peter 3:9.
Trust His process too. The delay is not a mistake.
