Why do you do what you do?
We we’re “designed” to have goals, which in this case, I’d call ulterior motives. We don’t just do stuff because we want to do them.
There’s always an underlying reason. So what’s yours?
For some, they work so they can make millions and eat all the food they’ve always wanted to eat.
For some, it’s to be able to spend more time with family.
For some, it’s just so that some people won’t call them jobless.
Some work for the happiness and contentment it gives them.
And for some, it’s so that their faces can be on every billboard, magazine and other media outlets.
Whichever one it is, I won’t say there’s a bad or good motive. The only thing I’d say is that you remember one truth:
“You weren’t created for you.”
So ensure what you do and why you do it has a positive impact on someone else. Commute daily for the right reasons.
So, why do you work?
